What I wore to this majestic party...
A two piece suit, the color of Easter.
Absurd lavender river shoes.
The faint stain of a snapping turtle's kiss.
Minnows darting around my ankles.
A couple strands of slender weeds.
Sky braided into my hair.
A soft cover of tannin and cloud.
Water stained palms, the color of Earl Grey tea.
